Notion connections

Connecting a workspace lets NoteValidator read the pages you explicitly share.

What gets connected​

  • A workspace in Notion
  • The databases you choose to share with the integration

How sharing works​

NoteValidator only sees pages and databases that you share with it inside Notion. If a database is missing, open it in Notion and share it with the integration.

Add more pages later​

You can expand access at any time if you want to validate additional pages.

  1. Open Notion Connections in the dashboard.
  2. Click Edit on your connected workspace.
  3. In the Notion permission screen, select the new pages or databases.
  4. Confirm the update and return to NoteValidator.
tip

If a newly shared database does not appear right away, refresh the validator list.

Reconnecting and switching workspaces​

  • If permissions change or access is removed, reconnect to restore access.
  • To switch workspaces, disconnect and connect again.

Best practices​

  • Share only the databases you want to validate.
  • Use a dedicated integration connection for clarity.
